How Non-Maths Students can Crack NDA Exam?

NDA stands for National Defence Services and CDS stands for Combined Defence Services. Both of these exams are important if you want to join the Indian defense forces as an officer. While NDA is only for boys and can be taken in 12th standard, CDS is the exam which can be taken after you complete your graduation and it is open to both boys and girls.

Many students go for NDA coaching as the exam can be tough, especially for those students who don’t have Maths in their 12th standard. If you are looking for tips to crack the exam without maths, then you have to put in extra efforts and ensure that you prepare well in advance.

You will be eligible to apply for the Army wing of the Indian Armed forces without maths subject. Even making it in the army is pretty tough and a proud feat if you can do it. So, if you’re a non-maths student and want to clear the NDA exam, follow the below-mentioned steps-
  • You will have to study maths even if you don’t have it as your subject. So, accept this fact first and start taking coaching at the right academy.
  •  People often don’t go to their friends for help. But if you have friends who’re good at maths, don’t hesitate to take their help.
  • Self-study is essential. There is no point taking classes and not practicing those formulas.
  •   Solve previous year’s papers and give dedicated time slots to studying maths every day. Also, it is very important to set a time limit for each chapter. This will go a long way when it comes to helping you finish your course on time.
If you are going to appear for CDS exam, then you should consider joining a good CDS coaching institute in order to make it through the final exam.
